All About Gordon Brown's 'Iraq War Inquiry' Bullshit

Huh.

If you think that's a large load of the stinky stuff - boy, have we got news for you.

Iraq war inquiry to be in private

An independent inquiry into the Iraq war will be held in private, Prime Minister Gordon Brown has told MPs.

Opposition parties - and many Labour MPs - have been calling for the probe since shortly after the 2003 invasion.

It will start next month and take at least a year, Mr Brown said. It will not aim to "apportion blame", he added.
So, if you can stomach it, read some more re : this disgusting smelly Brown stuff.

Brits leaving Basra in Iraq... well, at least some of them are

It's really bloody brilliant hearing today about Britain's boys & girls in uniform coming back from Basra in Iraq. After six sorry years of blood, sweat and tears.

Back from Iraq where they were illegally sent to illegally invade and occupy a foreign sovereign nation, by the war criminal Tony Blair. The criminal Tony Blair who, after a while, simply got so & so sick of it and so shamefully sodded off when it suited him ~ leaving a lot of unlucky lads & lasses to carry on killing & being killed regardless.

Some brave British Prime Minister, eh?

Has any other British Premier in history ever done such a dastardly, cowardly, absolutely shameless thing?

Whatever, should anyone here ever bump into the bum perhaps they'd like to
pass this especially sickening link on to him.

It shows all of the brave boys & girls who, like the evil little louse himself, weren't still around to see some sort of sense and/or sanity hold sway today.

The big difference being of course that the kids who were killed, thanks entirely to Blair and his criminal cohort and cowardly American brother-in-blood [George W. Bush] didn't have a choice.

So, should you ever be in a position to show said link to the little shit, tell him it's a gift from This Old Brit who, (like the bunch of boys & girls pictured and/or listed) given the chance, wouldn't see fit to let the lousy likes of him lick their blood stained boots.

George Galloway's recent heroic humanitarian cross country 'Gaza-Aid' convoy accomplishment

Abject apologies at the outset for not posting this piece somewhat sooner but ... oh never mind, who the hell's interested our own recent personal problems? Especially, since, as this old Jewish gent named Albert Einstein once so famously said : "Everything is relative."

( Btw, don't ask, 'coz we won't tell. )

Anyway, remember good old
George Galloway?

You know - the man who so many of his lousy lying critics love to hate? Even though the majority of them aren't fit to lick his boots.

The fact is that if we weren't such serially, seriously avowed agnostics we'd almost certainly be cheering & chanting out aloud. You know the sort of thing(s) we mean. Something such as :God bless George Galloway.

How's this for an honestly heroic accomplishment of almost epic proportions, by such an elderly (and so often slandered) individual of true integrity?

** BWCF - THE BLAIR WAR CRIMES FOUNDATION **

It is necessary to make leaders hesitate before indulging in “the paramount war crime” to quote the judges of Nuremberg, of “unprovoked aggression against a defenceless country”.

Unless leaders fear that they might be tried for their war crimes, we will live in an increasingly violent world, where The Geneva Conventions are treated as a joke, the UN is of no account, and death, destruction, torture, and repressive policing are commonplace.

At the moment such leaders enjoy more and more trappings of power, and retire with vast sums of money, houses, medals and lucrative contracts.

A group of UK Citizens have therefore set up an organisation, “The Blair War Crimes Foundation”, to initially bring one such leader to justice as an example.

Contributions to cover advertising and postal costs are welcome at BWC Foundation Fund PO Box 64656 NW3 9NG ~~ N.B. Any surplus will paid to Basra Childrens’ Leukaemia Hospital.

Secretaries of Foundation: David Halpin MB, FRCS, Nicholas Wood MA, RIBA, FRGS at above address.

** Please read the relevant letter, look at the list of signatories, then sign said petition yourself. **

After all, it's the very least you/we all can do.

Gordon Brown : Britain out of Iraq by July. (But what about an absence of any accompanying Afghanistan announcements?)

Arriving unannounced today in Iraq Gordon Brown announced that British soldiers will be out of that (criminally, cold bloodedly, premeditatedly and sickeningly mercilessly), quite callously 'crucified' country -- inside 7 months.

UK troops to leave Iraq 'by July'
While that's certainly the sort of of cheerful news that will make for many of us being able to have at least a little happier Christmas, all aint exactly as it first appears.

But what's new?

Remember this though -- only British boys & girls still surviving (and still in one piece) at the selected time, will be coming back to Britain under their own steam. Since, sadly, between now and July's end some are sure to have to be stretchered back to 'dear old blighty. Sadder still, some others are bound to be borne back by bearers, in bloody boxes.

But what's new?

Moreover, the British government's ever eager to spin to please, directly as dictated by Downing Street, partners in propaganda, the once so highly respected BBC, will continue to comply and play down the fact that many more members of our brave British forces are already earmarked for an unbelievably, flat out f*cked up Afghanistan.

So, once again a conspiracy of assorted slimy, snidey, shitty, soulless, cowardly, completely compliant, conniving, conscienceless spinners seeks to sucker us.

Shame?

Scruples?

Such sods as recently have serially professed to sincerely and honestly represent, and to selflessly serve this country's substantial majority of decent citizens, quite simply, have neither any semblence of shame, nor the slightest sign of scruples.

And that's for sure.

Furthermore, on said (so sad) score you can (quite categorically) quote us.

Lord Bingham : Iraq Invasion Illegal

Iraq war 'violated rule of law'

Former attorney general
Lord Goldsmith defended his legal advice

Legal advice given to
Tony Blair by the attorney general prior to the Iraq war was fundamentally "flawed," a former law lord has claimed.

Lord Bingham said Lord Goldsmith had given Mr Blair "no hard evidence" that Iraq had defied UN resolutions "in a manner justifying resort to force".

Therefore, the action by the UK and US was "a serious violation of international law," Lord Bingham added.

Don't ask us how, but we've somehow managed to summon up sufficient super-human strength to stop ourselves from taking to the streets, screaming to everyone in sight: "We told you so."

British Soldiers' 'Baha Mousa' Slaying Shame ...

Well, we've been beaten to it today by one of our old Brit brother bloggers, R.J. Adams at 'sparrow chat'.

Beaten to what?

Beaten to this bit of bloody barbarity.

God Bless The ‘Special Relationship’

Few in America will have heard the name, Baha Mousa. That’s a pity, because Baha Mousa was living proof the ’special relationship’ between Britain and the United States is as strong and endurable as ever.

Baha Mousa is no longer ‘living proof’. He’s been dead five years: tortured to death by British troops in Basra, following arrest and detention along with a number of others Iraqis, in September 2003.

Mousa was a hotel receptionist whose only crime was being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Read the rest right here.

Since it seems 'sparrow chat''s already said it all for us - and so succinctly too - we're simply going to put a face to a name:the name of Baha Mousa, deceased.

Shocked?

You should be. Since that's what it looks like when an innocent man's been brutally beaten to death ... by a bunch of (brave?) young British soldiers.

Nice one, boys.

Eh?

You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Saddam Hussein's Long Lost Letter to America ...

Remember Saddam Hussein?

Two years ago today (7th July 2006) Saddam Hussein sent a hand written letter to 'The American People'.

We doubt many of them even received it, let alone ever read it.

So here's their second chance -
since we have said letter right here - in it's absolutely uncensored entirety.

Isn't it somewhat surprising though that so many Americans, along with plenty of others,
were so easily able/allowed to see something as shocking as this?

Anyway, can we sincerely suggest everyone starts asking themselves some (very relevant) questions?

The above photograph of Saddam, by the way, was taken just five short months after he wrote his letter.

BBC's Premier 'Panorama' Programme Exposes US War Profiteering In Iraq ...

No.

Not in a million years.

No way.

We do not hate to have to say that, straight from the outset, we've serially and seriously persisted on saying shouting the same.

That is, that the so called Iraq 'War' is, quite clearly, the greatest criminal heist in history. Really. You can put cash money on it. Trust us.

And now, it seems that US (Democratic Party) politician Henry Waxman who chairs the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform is saying the same thing, though obviously using his own choice of words -- instead of pinching our personal, precise pronouncements on said subject:

"The money that's gone into waste, fraud and abuse under these contracts is just so outrageous, its egregious.

"It may well turn out to be the largest war profiteering in history."
The two quotes above are clipped from today's following report by the BBC.

BBC uncovers lost Iraq billions

By Jane Corbin - BBC News

A BBC investigation estimates that around $23bn (£11.75bn) may have been lost, stolen or just not properly accounted for in Iraq.

For the first time, the extent to which some private contractors have profited from the conflict and rebuilding has been researched by the BBC's Panorama using US and Iraqi government sources.

A US gagging order is preventing discussion of the allegations.

The order applies to 70 court cases against some of the top US companies.

War profiteering

While George Bush remains in the White House, it is unlikely the gagging orders will be lifted.

To date, no major US contractor faces trial for fraud or mismanagement in Iraq.

Australia Pulls Troops From Iraq ...

Still think there's such a thing as a Coalition of the Willing?

Ha! How hilarious.

Have you heard the latest regarding further troop withdrawals from Iraq?

Australia ends Iraq combat role

Australia, one of the first countries to commit troops to the war in Iraq five years ago, has ended its combat operations there.

Australian troops are due to begin returning home in a few days in line with a promise by Prime Minister Kevin Rudd who swept to power in November.

He said the previous government had abused intelligence information to justify joining the Iraq war.

In parliament on Monday, Mr Rudd said his predecessor, John Howard, had been wrong to join the war in Iraq.

Raving Religious Nutter War Criminal And Tall Story Teller, Tony Blair, And His Horrific Heights Of Hypocrisy ...

*
If any Brits believed George W. Bush's blood brother and partner in (war) crime, Tony Blair had finally effed off out of it, for good ... oh boy, have we got bloomin' bad blinkin' news for them.

First off, Tone isn't permanently relocating to Rome's Vatican City to reside with his most recently discovered best bosom buddy, Roman Catholic Pope Ratzi the Papal poxy Nazi.

Nor, it hurts us to have to tell you, will he be spending most of his time strutting about the States - amongst, of course, his crazy, extremist, fundamentalist, kindred spirits. Be they belonging to a bona fide or completely counterfeit, cracked cultist crew of so-called Christians.

Nor will he be making magic in the Middle East while spending most of his self proclaimed precious time strutting his shitty stuff and showing off - trying to come across as some sort of fantastically supernaturally-successful, special ecumenical peace envoy for the people. Particularly, some poor, seemingly serially put-upon and persecuted, innocent Palestinians.

Holy tea & toasted teacakes on the lawn with the vicar!!

Crumby fresh crumpets covered with butter!

Jesus H. Christ. Good God. Heaven help us. Saints sodding preserve us. Father flamin' forgive us. And may (any one's), Lord almighty show us some sort of so & so mercy.

Oy, vey. Hear our prayer. Holy mother. Sacred heart. Amen. Assorted similar expletives. And several etceteras too.

Eh?

Blair to urge key role for faith

Former prime minister Tony Blair is to call for faith to be given a central role in tackling the world's problems.

In a speech at Westminster Cathedral, Mr Blair will say failure to engage with religious groups will drive believers to apathy or fundamentalism.

Mr Blair, who recently converted to Catholicism, will outline the role of his Faith Foundation for young people.

Anti-war protesters from Stop The War Coalition have pledged to drown out the speech with a "wall of sound".

Catholic peace group Pax Christi also plan a silent protest before the speech.
Two things, Tony.

A big pat on the back to 'The Stop The War Coalition' - and may perfect peace permanently be upon 'Pax Christi'.

Read the rest of this ridiculous religion related report, right here.

Listen, mister bloody Blair, if you're even an average example of your particular religion's faithful effing followers -- we strongly suggest you just take it and shove it.

So help us.

R.I.P.

Little Ali Ibn Laith -- aged 9.

Murdered today, in Iraq.

From Iraq, to Dubhaltach, to our inbox, to you, today:

Mohammed's brother Ali died of his wounds today courtesy of shrapnel and flames caused by US missile strike.

He was 9.

Mike/Christina dont expect to hear anything from Mohammed until 40 day of the mourning period is over.

Saba says US soldiers shot at Mohammed as he approached a roadblock they had set up and that he was carrying Ali in his arms trying to get to hospital. He also says that Ali was very badly burned and died screaming.

We'll be posting a death notice late tonight.

Du

Here's our emailed response:

Du, I am so, so sorry to learn this.

I don't have the words .... but in whatever way you can/will, please pass on sincere sympathies and heartfelt condolances.

May little Ali rest in eternal peace. May his murderers NEVER EVER do the same.

Abu Ghraib's Infamous Lynndie England : Unmissable 'Stern' Interview ...

*

Remember the whole wide world's revulsion regarding a certain candid-camera kind of compilation?

Remember Lynndie England?

An American soldier who - by her contemptable complicity in the torturing at Abu Ghraib prison - shamed, disgraced and disgusted so many members of the human race? You know, one of the (so called), Christian soldiers sent by George Bush & Co from the United States -- supposedly to set the poor Iraqi people free from their sufferings under Saddam?

Well... if you thought that by now, especially since she became a mother, she must have become seriously and sincerely contrite... well, judge for yourselves.

The snips which follow below are from an amazing (recent), interview with the German magazine 'Stern' - and while we like to believe that any article we highlight here is well worth reading - we genuinely believe this particular one is, in a word, brilliant.

One might, in all honesty, even say "unmissable"

Thousands of Americans?
Both. I guess after the picture came out the insurgency picked up and Iraqis attacked the Americans and the British and they attacked in return and they were just killing each other. I felt bad about it, ... no, I felt pissed off.

If the media hadn't exposed the pictures to that extent then thousands of lives would have been saved.

(snip)

But you took the photos.
Yeah, I took the photos but I didn't make it worldwide. Yes, I was in five or six pictures and I took some pictures, and those pictures were shameful and degrading to the Iraqis and to our government. And I feel sorry and wrong about what I did. But it would not have escalated to what it did all over the world if it wouldn't have been for someone leaking it to the media. Hell, I was at Fort Bragg when the pictures came out and I had no idea.

Can you tell us about the day you heard the pictures had been made public?

The pictures came out on a Thursday, April 27 or 28. I called my Mom on Saturday. I was pregnant at the time, I didn't have a car, I didn't get the newspaper, I didn't have a TV, I didn't have a radio. I called my Mom from a payphone and she said, "There's a hundred reporters out in the front yard. You're all over the news, your face is in the papers, on CNN." I just said, "What are you talking about?" I didn't believe it. She started talking about the pictures and describing them. And I'm like, "Oh shit, how did they get out?"

Were you scared when you realized the pictures were out there?

I didn't really believe it. It was kind of like I was still in shock. I was like "No, me?"

But you knew at that stage that the investigation had been underway since January?

Yeah, but I didn't know it was so public with America, or even the world. So I went to this buddy I knew in the barracks, and I looked it up on the Internet and thought, "Oh my God." I couldn't believe it. And then I started getting paranoid. I was really getting scared at that point and thinking somebody's gonna beat the shit out of me. And I was only three months pregnant and I wasn't showing so they could beat the hell out of me and I could have lost the baby.

See 'STERN's amazing (seven page), Lynndie England interview in it's riveting entirety.

And discover some (special), others she says she blames.

For What It's Worth : Our Own Online "BLOGSWARM" Anti-War Contribution

*
"Suffer little children to come unto me." Eh?

We came pretty late to this "Blogswarm" project, since we first learned of it just a couple of hours ago - courtesy of our good blogger-buddy, Gordo at 'Appletree'.

But better late than never, eh?

Anyway, seeing as it's already toward the end of another long day here in great British GMT-land, here's hoping we're allowed to cheat a little by being short on the words (again), but a bit 'bigger' on the pictures. After all, you know what they (and us), always say about every picture telling a story and how each one is worth a thousand words.

However, where real, raw, war photos are concerned [like those collected by Canadian,
Roedy Green], each image is worth - at least -10,000 words - or more.

Fair warning though, if your sensibilities are easily offended, your stomach's at all sensitive or if you've got heart and/or blood pressure problems then believe us, you'd be far better off forgetting the following link.

Final Warning : these photographs are graphic -- total 'Shock and Awe' graphic.

If they don't immediately ram right home how truly hellish (all) war really is, then nothing ever will.

Have a nice day.
