George Galloway's recent heroic humanitarian cross country 'Gaza-Aid' convoy accomplishment

Abject apologies at the outset for not posting this piece somewhat sooner but ... oh never mind, who the hell's interested our own recent personal problems? Especially, since, as this old Jewish gent named Albert Einstein once so famously said : "Everything is relative."

( Btw, don't ask, 'coz we won't tell. )

Anyway, remember good old
George Galloway?

You know - the man who so many of his lousy lying critics love to hate? Even though the majority of them aren't fit to lick his boots.

The fact is that if we weren't such serially, seriously avowed agnostics we'd almost certainly be cheering & chanting out aloud. You know the sort of thing(s) we mean. Something such as :God bless George Galloway.

How's this for an honestly heroic accomplishment of almost epic proportions, by such an elderly (and so often slandered) individual of true integrity?

Saddam Hussein's Long Lost Letter to America ...

Remember Saddam Hussein?

Two years ago today (7th July 2006) Saddam Hussein sent a hand written letter to 'The American People'.

We doubt many of them even received it, let alone ever read it.

So here's their second chance -
since we have said letter right here - in it's absolutely uncensored entirety.

Isn't it somewhat surprising though that so many Americans, along with plenty of others,
were so easily able/allowed to see something as shocking as this?

Anyway, can we sincerely suggest everyone starts asking themselves some (very relevant) questions?

The above photograph of Saddam, by the way, was taken just five short months after he wrote his letter.

Ali Hassan al Majid (aka Chemical Ali) Sentenced To Swing ... Sans A Single Shameless US Accomplice, Enabler, Aider and/or Abettor

We see Ali Hassan al Majid - aka - Chemical Ali is shortly set to swing, just as surely as his cretinous cousin, Saddam Hussein swung.

Serves him so & so right - we won't lose a wink of sleep - neither as, nor after, the trap door's tripped beneath the turd's feet.

Incidentally, shown above is the same smug schmuck, in his hay-day.

What a shame that some of the sickening sod's past US enablers, accomplices and aiders & abettors shan't be sharing the slimy sob's fate.

Well, whatever.

Onward, ever onward.

You may remember that we ended our last post with the words "Don't forget." Well, we're reminding you again: Don't forget.

Now, see this snippet from an old
'Counterpunch' piece, penned by ELSON E. BOLES.
You may feel disgusted by the hypocrisy of US plans to make war on Iraq and sickened at the inevitable slaughter of thousands of people. But if you could only vaguely recall the details of how deep the hypocrisy goes, then read on.

The US not only helped arm Iraq with military equipment right up to the time of the Kuwait invasion in 1989, as did Germany, Britain, France, Russia and others, but also sold and helped Iraq to integrate chemical weapons into their US-provided battle plans while fighting Iran between 1985-1988.

(snip)

... while making his case against Saddam, President Bush said "He's used poison gas on his own people." Bush deceives because he hides the fact that US officials, including his father, had no qualms about helping Saddam gas Iranians.

(snip)

US policy makers, financiers, arms-suppliers and makers, made massive profits from sales to Iraq of myriad chemical, biological, conventional weapons, and the equipment to make nuclear weapons.

(snip)

A PBS Frontline episode, "The Arming of Iraq" (1990) detailed much of the conventional and so-called "dual-use" weapons sold to Iraq. The public learned from other sources that at least since mid-1980s the US was selling chemical and biological material for weapons to Iraq and orchestrating private sales.

These sales began soon after current Secretary of State, Donald Rumsfeld traveled to Baghdad in 1985 and met with Saddam Hussein as a private businessman on behalf of the Reagan administration.
Surprised? Shocked? Stunned?

You certainly should be, as you read the rest of this positively puke-inducing piece.

So, What's New In Iraq?

*

A year ago (almost to the day), we put together the piece that follows under the title: So, Saddam Hussein Swung; So What?

We believe it's time we published it again.

So, we see that Saddam Hussein swung.

So what?

So a single drop in the ocean (despot-wise), has (admittedly, deservedly), died as he had lived - via violence.

But we still say, so what?

Almost all of Saddam's enablers, armourers, accomplices, aiders & abetters and his equally evil, devious, leader peers elsewhere - especially in our respective, so called, civilised western countries' heinous hierarchies - still strut and stroll freely.

They still live lives of luxury as they feast off the fats of their people's lands, and at their leisure & pleasure sup freely of others' blood, sweat and tears. Including yours and ours.

They still grow richer as we, the overwhelming majority of the masses, grow poorer - and certainly neither simply nor solely in the most easily understood terms of filthy, tangible lucre.

They continue becoming increasingly more powerful and decreasingly less caring - as far as their ordinary fellow countrymen and women are concerned.

They continue organising and ordering the mass killings of innocents.

Also -- the premeditated, serial infliction of torture, pain, maiming, deprivation, persecution, and all manner of similar suffering for which they are responsible -- it all remains rampant, unabated, largely unchallenged and almost totally unrestrained.

None of the terrible trauma experienced by any who sincerely strive to stand up to them, or even strongly and conscientiously dare to criticize them, has ceased.

Nor have they even lessened. Neither in quantity nor 'quality'. Nor are they likely to.

So, Saddam Hussein has swung.

So bloody well what?

The serially spewed, shameless shit of the same old, same old smoke and sodding mirrors -- that's what. And that's all. And don't let anyone try to tell you anything different.

Invoking inane, hackneyed, blase, lame, repititious, stock utterances such as 'The world's a better place ...', they retain the audacity to attempt to placate any regular man & woman in the street's uncertainties with just such (and similar), transparent tissues of lies.

What a gargantuan barrel of bullshit. What a humungus load of bollocks. What sheer unadulterated, raw codswallop. What contemptible insults to, and reprehensible disdain for, our own common sense and basic intelligence.

When you awoke this morning where you aware of any improvements?

Like hell you weren't. Likewise we weren't. Likewise nobody else was.

Since, - for those who may not yet have realised it, we want to plainly point out that - the dead have definitely not risen. Not a single, solitary one of them.

No bloodied broken victims have become whole again. Nor are any of them likely to.

Useless, senseless, sickening (yet convenient and/or profitable), wholesale slaughter still holds sway -- and is set to continue to. All under the disingenuous guise of serving the 'national' interest.

Sincere dissent and/or serious discussion is still stifled -- and will continue to be.

Political, religious and racist scores - both national and international - are still settled daily, almost always unmercifully -- and will continue to be. Of that you may be certain. As a matter of fact you can quite categorically quote us on it.

The puke producing political pricks in power still proliferate -- and will continue to.

Needless wars based on patently outrageous lies are still being waged -- and will continue to be.

Moreover, even as we type, fresh carnage elsewhere is currently in the offing.

Plans aplenty are already well and truly laid.

The great game goes on.

More madness and mayhem is at this precise moment being arranged -- the bulk of it, in the most meticulous, cold blooded, calculated manner imaginable .

So Saddam Hussein has swung.

So we say again, so what?

The monied, powerbroking wankers of our world still decide (completely, callously), our collective (and mainly miserable), destiny.

And we can count on them continuing to -- for as long as we the people remain so appallingly apathetic as to always accept and allow it all.

So Saddam Hussein has swung.

So what?

(See what some of the Arab world is saying).

* N.B. One year later we can answer our original question ourselves. A lot more people have been killed murdered, and a lot more big-bucks-blood-money has been made.

G.W. Bush & Co - Worldwide Warmongers - The Most Popular YouTube Video Ever

Ten thousand thanks to regular reader, commenter, brother Brit and blogger buddy R.J. Adams of Sparrowchat for pointing us toward the most popular 'YouTube' video ever -- anywhere and everywhere.

And still these lying liars get away with it. Even after all this time.

What in the world is the matter with us all?

Our question of course is rhetorical. We wouldn't want any among us standing up, speaking out, being counted and incriminating ourselves, would we?

After all, isn't aiding and abetting criminals to commit crimes a crime in itself?

As we said before - the question posed is purely rhetorical.

So, it's best for all concerned if nobody bothers offering any answers.

Eh?

After all, maybe sometime, somewhere, some of us will stumble upon some sort of soft hearted god who'll forgive us.

Eh?

Btw, don't answer that one either.

Ex MI6/S.I.S. Boss Sir Richard Dearlove - Blows Whistle On Blair-Bush-Co's Illegal Iraq Invasion ...

So, speaking of intelligence, which we so recently were ...

Ex-MI6 boss attacks Iraq policy

Sir Richard was head of MI6 for five years

Government policy was too dependent on intelligence in the run-up to war with Iraq, the former head of MI6 has said.

Speaking in London, Sir Richard Dearlove [who eventually resigned over the Iraq 'rift'], said when the government made its case in Parliament, too much emphasis was put on intelligence.

In reality, there were many other factors contributing to policy decisions, he said.
Read the BBC's very latest, highly relevant report.

Then, definitely read the following, from a genuinely well informed 'insider' - none other than
Michael Smith, ex Defence Correspondent of the London Daily Telegraph and current correspondent of both the [London] Sunday Times and the New Statesman.

Here's a teaser from today's telling tale written and published online by Mr Smith himself.

The first six [Downing Street Memos] were passed to me in September 2004 when I was the Defence Correspondent of the London Daily Telegraph.

The main thrust of this first batch was the deep concern among British officials over the justification for the war and the way in which George W Bush was prepared to invade Iraq without any clear idea of what would happen after the war.

They also show that there was already a very clear plan, initiated by Downing St, to 'wrongfoot' Saddam into giving the allies an excuse for regime change, which the documents clearly stated was illegal under international law.

(snip)

But more to the point, and regardless of the conditions, Blair had agreed to do something that was illegal under international law, without the knowledge of Parliament or many members of his own cabinet.
Now, you MUST read the rest of Smith's startling story.
