A bit about Turkey, Clinton, Obama, Europe and more

We heard that Hillary Clinton took a trip to (our very own 'home from home'), Turkey today ~ (Saturday 8th March 2009).



Also, we see that her boss, US President Barak Obama, is soon set to follow in her footsteps and take the exact same trip.



We always find all this sort of stuff so very interesting : so very, very interesting.



So much so, that we wouldn't, for the world, want to miss a single subsequent episode of this latest international "series".

And incidentally, sorry if you don't much care for our choice of portraits. The truth is that as (admittedly amateur), avid photographers ourselves, sometimes we just get soooo sick & tired of seeing so much photo-press "saccharine".

Wondering About Barack Obama, Colin Powell, Hilary Clinton, Walmart, Carl Bernstein And More ...

As we approach the half way mark of 2007 we also arrive at the stage when we seriously start wondering who the next president of the United States could possibly be.

Right now, we'd say it increasingly appears to we across the pond that it could well be one of the pair of (ultra professional), political charmers portrayed as sparring partners in the cartoon shown above; Senator Hilary Clinton and Senator Barack Obama.

And if either of 'em eventually does end up entering the White House, then one thing is certain -- it'll be a great big, gargantuan, ginormous '1st' for America.


Also, after reading what we read earlier today we now can't help wondering who Uncle Tom - Colon(full of it)Bowel - Colin Powell would want to win such a scrap.

And what about the famed Watergate journalist Carl Bernstein?

And what about the infamous Walmart?

As for ourselves, ... well now, ... can you say 'Tweedle Dum or Tweedle Dee'?

And/or even, 'ce'st la vie'?

President Hilary Clinton; True Or False Or True Or False Or True Or False Or True Or ...?

Quite some time ago we were asked by an angry (and alarmingly aggressive), American elsewhere on line: "Since when did damned foreigners have the right to pass opinions on possible future US presidents?"

Our answer was short & sweet.

"Since the day the US decided it wanted to rule the whole damned world," we said.

To date, our personal stance on said subject still hasn't altered at all.

Of course we don't want the Republican party still in power after the next US presidential election. That should go without saying.

And of course we'd much, much, much prefer that the Democratic party was presented with a mandate to put one of it's people into the White House.

But -- the proper person -- not just some one wearing the proper colours.

So, it's with that in mind that we want you to watch this.



Isn't it about time the American people stopped to think a little? And to remember a little?

Then, to put someone in charge who would honestly & truly put the American people first?

Instead of any prospective candidate who serially and unashamedly sought through (same-old, same-old) phony political practices (like never ending flip-flops) to primarily serve themselves?

Well, we know what we think.
