Does Tony Blair Believe His Backstabbing US Buddies Come Before Brother Brits ?
Do you, like we, believe Tony Blair truly is George. W. Bush's poodle?
Do you also believe that Blair has gradually become far more beholden to his creepy, Crawford cowboy compadre than to the British people who voted him into power in the first place, to represent them and theirs? And not to do the bidding [for their personal benefit] of a tiny but powerful pack of vicious warmongering, war-profiteering, mega-wealthy, abominably avaricious, rampantly racist, neocon American wolves ?
Then you'll also have to believe that whatever else the Bush maladministration's Condoleezza Rice may or may not be -- she's every bit the shyster we said she was, a short time ago.
She's also a back-stabbing bitch who would, we believe, willingly sell out her own sister so long as the price was right.
Much more than that -- the way we see it -- she's a US master-spy.
Small wonder then that Lebanon puts so little trust in such a two faced woman.
Now, though some see cynicism as some sort of psycho-screw-up, personality-wise, we've always viewed it as more of an admirable attribute. So, shoving any semblance of false modesty aside, we're here today to tell you straight that we smelled a rat at the outset; as soon as Condi and Jack Straw started standing too close for comfort to each other, on a serial basis.
Inviting each other to their respective private homes, indeed. That sort of thing is quite simply 'not done' -- not in such circles as they constantly circulate. As we say over here in Merrie Ole "... it's just not cricket, old chap."
In fact, after hearing whispers of some others' similar suspicions, we purposely placed comments relating directly to this matter at a few online forums, and other web/blog sites.
Interestingly, in not a single case did we elicit one solitary response -- neither by way of any agreement nor indeed in the form of any argument. So we shut up.
But, having learned over a longish lifetime that patience really is a virtue, we sat down and waited ... and waited ... and waited ...
Then this morning we saw this headline in Britain's Sunday Mail.
U.S. 'told Blair to sack Straw after Condi's Blackburn trip'
By SIMON WALTERS,
Mail on Sunday 10:05am 6th August 2006
Anyway, as one might expect, we read on -- and here are said piece's three first paragraphs.
Dramatic new evidence that Cabinet rebel Jack Straw was sacked as Foreign Secretary as a result of pressure from George W. Bush has been revealed.
Senior sources close to the US Government told The Mail on Sunday that Mr Straw's outspoken opposition to America's policies on the Middle East was discussed by White House aides weeks before his shock dismissal by Tony Blair in May.
It follows the disclosure that the Bush Administration feared Mr Straw was in the pocket of Muslims in his Blackburn constituency.
Further into the article we came across this.
It was revealed last week by a senior aide to media mogul Rupert Murdoch that US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice was shocked to learn of the influence of Muslims in Mr Straw's constituency when she visited Blackburn with him during a tour of Britain in April.
Four weeks after her visit, Mr Straw was mysteriously fired. His lightweight successor Margaret Beckett was so stunned when the Prime Minister offered her the job of Foreign Secretary, she exclaimed: "F***!"
Hmmm, again. Eh?
Okay, so as not to keep you in any further, needless suspense -- go here to read the rest for yourself.
