British Royal Navy Warships All Set To Sail For 'Operations Off Lebanon' ..

Make what you will of this.

And of this.

Afterwards, you're on your own: draw your own conclusions.

Since we wouldn't want to be the two to start spreading any unwarranted alarm & despondency, and/or to end up being berated because we shouted 'fire' just because we smelled a dirty big rat, or two, or several some smoke.

Nor because we surmised we'd seen certain, suspicious signals being sent somewhere.

But our own immediate impression?

Honestly?

Absolutely without any waffling?

Short & sweet?

In a single word?

Ominous.

Yes it is ominous, since these are prized capital ships of the Royal Navy and they probably come with their own small flotilla of supply and support vessels.

These usualy not moved around without some careful thoughts given to their deployment.

But we shouldn't worry unnecessarly, but rather we should enjoy our peaceful summer, as long as we can. The follie of man is so powerful, you better not to be on their way. It's just rolls over you.

We are too small players, to effect things one way or another.

My God! Take a look at this.

Looks like Syria is going to get it.

Smelled a rat? Jeeze. How right you were Richard.

Bush and Blair are the two most devious lying arseholes the UK and US have EVER had the misfortune to be saddled with. They should both be hounded from office. And then some more.

How ANYONE can believe a word either of these two say, amazes me.

Whoever votes for either one ever again, is either as evil as they are or simple minded -- to say the least.

And Richard, please keep up your great work getting the real news out to places they don't ever seem to get it. Your insight is awesome. Have you ever been proved wrong? Ever?

I'm just surprised the ships weren't already on manouvers in the Mediteranean. Maybe the Israelis stepped up the timing. Maybe the capture of the two Israeli soldiers was an opportunity too good to miss. It would fir with their thinking that htey are the real leaders of the Coalition of the Corrupt.

Thanks for the link, anonymous.

They've got to keep this war thing rolling quickly so as to keep everybody off balance. Pretty soon, though, someone is going to realise that the Israelis have already lit the petrol that's under everyone's feet and start pressing little red buttons of their own. And my guess is that there will be NO warning.

They WERE already in the Med Griffon.

One was just off Barcelona, Spain. The other one, Gibralta.

And remember we've yet to hear of any US ships.

Oops! Figures.
Thanks, Me.

I remember reinforcements sailing from San Diego about a month ago for the Mid-East but where they have ended up, I don't know.

Mark, if you're reading this , do you know where these US carriers are?

Anyone know when the next New Moon is?

Griffon & all,

Now I've learned that the US navy just happen to be conducting exercises with the Jordanian navy. Give you one guess where?

Yep, that's right. Off the coast of Lebanon.

So, how's this for a possible scenario?

One of "our" ships [UK/US/Jordan] will be "attacked". The immediate cry will go up "It was Syria wot dun it, guv."

You know the rest already.

Btw, I've also heard that Israeli has sunk an Egyptian ship.

By accident or design?

Oh those nasty Israeli bomber pilots. Fancy them bombing the airport's runway.

Now, instead of airlifts, we've all got to send our warships.

Any untrusting sould might have thought the Israelis and us had planned this thing all the long.

(As This Old Brit always says)

Eh?

(/snark)

How come the Greeks and the Spanish have already gotten their nationals out by air from Damascus airport? No problem?

They needed no damned battleships or aircraft carriers did they?

We know how come though don't we?

They're not as war-happy and bloodthirsty as UK and US and Israel

Thanks, Richard. (although "Thanks" doesn't sound quite right in the context)

It's amazing how things look different when you stop listening to what they saw and concentrate on what they are doing. Hence the paramount importance of propaganda to them and conversely the imperative importance of truth to us.

It seems that Stealth bombers like to operate when there is no moon. Next New Moon is about a week and a half away which would about right for a rapid escalation of the war.

I hope I'm wrong and I hope God has something up his sleeve.

Wouldn't it be nice if there was a Reverse Rapture whereby all these shitbags were suddenly sucked down drainholes and crevices in the ground. Imagine Shrub on the dunny and all that is heard is a short shriek followed by a loud popping noise.

I couldn't agree with you more 'Griffon,' in everything you wrote, but particularly with your fantasy, that the ground would open under the war mongers, war profiteers and other similar scums of the Earth (who send somebody else's son or daughter in harms way) and just swallow them, in one giant gulp. Thanks for placing that enjoyable picture in my mind. (Anyway, men's fantasy is quite similar in almost every other way, although now I digress.)

But barring that, why not have another huge, anti-war rally, but this one would also concentrate on Israel, not just the usual villains of the plot?

I know, it won't solve a thing and it's too hot out there and a million other excuses. At least though, it would put to lie, their meaningless propaganda, that the public is with them.

As it's turned out Richard, your "ominous" warning was on the button.

We Brits and the Yanks KNEW EXACTLY what lay in store for Lebanon at the hand's of the madmen from Israel. We, the apathetic public of UK and US would NOT have sat by and watched 'our own' suffer at Israeli hands like this.

THAT is why we sent our ships - to get them out so Israel could get on with their dirty work.

Bad luck, plagues, curses and poxes on them and their houses - for many generations to come.
