That's why.
And please pay particular attention to the very last sentence of the BBC report. It's a blatant, inexcusable outright lie.
Hamas did not "seize control" of anywhere. They were democratically elected by the Palestinian people.
Because said election results made such a monkey of the United States and their choice of puppet/poodle, the lying American & British governments (and almost all of their respective media), were/are once again only too willing and eager to create and to perpetuate, yet one more myth.
What has lately happened to the once so credible/reliable and well respected BBC, is not only sickeningly shameful, it's downright sodding scary.

Israel 'must sack' military rabbi
A human rights group in Israel has called for the military's chief rabbi to be dismissed for alleged incitement against Palestinians.
I doubt Yesh Din will have much luck then.

And now ther's some surprise being shown that there's an increase in anti-Semitism around the world. The only thing that surprises me is that it's not much worse than it is.
And befor you collar me, Richard, I'm NOT condoning it. But I do understand why it's happening.
It's the fault of a tiny minority of voiciforous extremist, fundy Gentiles, Muslims and all manner of other retards who are as fucked up in their thinking as recent Israeli governments and the undesirable sections of illegal settlements are. It's a mini form of collective punishment.
I feel sorry for decent Jews everywhere. Not only has Israel brough shame on them, it's put them in awful [and risky] positions wherever in the world they live.
Yes BBC is a pile of "s..t" for a while now in my eyes. It has jumped on the co-operate media band-wagon and is riding it all the way!
Blair fired a whole bunch of decent journalists who were interested in the "truth" rather then glossy lies, and replaced them with perfect "androids", who have no interest in journalism but "MONEY"!
These so called cooperate journalists are a mockery of the business... they are shameful and deceitful. BBC is run by these guys and anyone disagreeing with me needs a cold wake up shower....
I still read BBC as there are some interesting articles, but forget getting the whole truth, nothing but the truth... those days are sadly over... :(
Long live the free internet... But powers BE, will get their long and ugly tentacles there as well... They are already trying very very hard!!!!

Don't be shy or coy: over at jewssansfrontieres.blogspot.com, an openly Jewish anti-Zionist blog, one of the contributors once remarked: "For anti-Semites, Israel is the gift that keeps on giving".
What is truth or common sense?
Is it just the current media hype at a factor of ten?
Isn't it a variable that is ever shifting, ever changing, every couple of years?
Two hundred years ago it was common sense to have slaves; we don't believe in that now.
Fifty years ago or so it was illegal to be gay, and it was legal to rape your wife; we don't believe in that now either, but if common sense can change that much in just fifty or two hundred years, what is there to say that it won't change tomorrow? No-one knows what the truth of tomorrow will be.
But I do know who is going to invent it, and I do know who is going to look back at the truths of our time and tell us they were lies.
Sure the perception of common sense can can alter.
Truth can't change though. Lies can and do change all the time.
But the truth, whether we believe it to be so or not can NOT change. It's people who need to change. They need to become better informed. They need to forget the lies they've been fed for so long, and have believed usually because it's the easy option. Especially they need to forget the same old, same lies they've been fed since their childhood.
The truth is always the truth, It's up to people to get off their backsides and search for it themselves rather than fool themselves that their politicians and religious men & women will hand it to them.
And THAT's the truth.
