Michael Todd : UK's Top "CIA Extraordinary Rendition/Torture" Cop's Dead Body Discovered ...
A body found at a beauty spot in North Wales has been identified as that of the Chief Constable of Greater Manchester Police ~ Britain's second largest police force.

Mr Todd was the man in charge of the 'rendition for torture' investigation into the alleged use of British territory by America's C.I.A.
Just nine months ago (June 07), the resulting report ruled that there was no evidence ... etc, etc, blah, blah, blah ...
Nevertheless, only last month (Feb 08), Prime Minister Gordon Brown's new, New Labour Government admitted that the US had indeed used UK territory in the furtherance of C.I.A. 'extraordinary rendition'. Which, as almost everyone with a modicum of common sense knows, is merely a modern "Made in USA" euphemism for torture.
And yes, before anyone bothers blasting us, we are well aware that there could indeed be no dots whatsoever to be joined.
And yes, it could all just as easily be complete coincidence - and therefore not connected in any way at all, with any kind of conspiracy ; either real or imagined.
Right?

June:He obeys orders and covers their asses by lying for them.
Feb: Finally they HAVE to come clean [to some extent] - in parliament via a minister of the crown's official announcement.
Soon after:He complains VOCIFEROUSLY that they've said [in so many words] that HE was either lying or|and incompetent when he said what he did.
Immediately after:THEY say to him ...........
Then:He ................
OK, YOU tell me the rest .......

Btw, the fact that you mention PC 49 [Brian Reece] makes me suspect you're about 75% of the way there already.
It was widely believed in the GMP that Stalker was given the NI job because they had the goods on him with his interests in people who like Miami a lot.
Should he, as his team (he only went for 2 meetings and never stayed overnight) did, find anyhting and decide to cause problems they could steer him off the job ... which is exactly what happened.
Then the Masons took over and it was all covered up... and Chief Inspector of Constabulary Flanagan cannot remeber anything about it .. and Sir John hermon has Alzheimers ....

Thanks for the amazing links you led me to -- offering so much info.
There's so much to see that I don't have the time to say it all right now. One thing everyone of us should have thought immediately though --- why in the name of God would an intelligent man like him coose TO BE DRIVEN to Snowdonia at a time when all British media were warning EVERYONE and their dog -- over and overand over that the worst storms of the winter were about to batter us?
Also, does anyone know who "his driver" is/was? In the first reports I heard|read [BBC I think] it was stated that "his driver became concerned when he [Todd] did not return when expected - and who then alerted the rescue services.
This is geting so complicated that it's almost impossible for an idividual like me [or any other] to get and stay on top of. Even so, it's getting clearer by the minute that with regards to this man's death ---- something STINKS!!!!!!!

Story is changing all the time. Now, it wasn't at the bottom of a cliff - it was on a gentle slope.
Now, he had no driver - he drove himself to within five miles and hen walked the rest.
And what a weird use of words by a police spokesman friend of Dodds - his body was found next to a half empty bottle - NOT a half empty bottle was found next to a bottle. WTF? What's the main item here? The body or the bottle?
Another crazy thing - a Sky News guy was told by the Home Office BEFORE Dodd's own force was? And why have police denied 'slit wrists' - who said anything about slit wrists in the first place?

This really did catch my attention in the last BBC update I read.
The alarm was raised after he sent the messages to various people, which caused concern for their safety and his own, the BBC has learnt.

Todd uncovered the rendition flights that had backloads of heroin and cocaine, the CIA bread and butter.
Twa points as our dour SCots Gauleiter would say.
1. Diego Garcia, whilst suspected was not in fact on anyone's direct list - principally because air spotters have trouble getting to the beach.
Fragrant Lady Amos whenevr confronted with the question llaways delicately (but very firmly)danced around it.
2. Twas not Gordy who fessed up, it was the Yanquis, who just happened tofind some files at the back of a drawer whilst they were cleaning out the office.
3. Todds enquiry therefore had nothing to do with DG.
4. Backloads of heroin ? Maybe but I would suggest this is both fanciful and unrpoveable.
Perhaps keen readers of the daily blats will have noticed that these "letters" were not blowing around inthe 100 mph Snowdon blizzards but were "found" in Manchester -- his flat ?
Somebody went in and took papers , perhaps even a computer or two away for "safe keeping" maybe as the flat would be empty.
Stalker, Murray, Kelly,Cook, Todd , ill health, mental problems, drink, religion and most of all confused tale telling.
The thing that most nags away is.
Who happened to be out walking in a Snowdon blizzard and happily stumbled on his body - who had a mobile - which connected - who have now not been named or identiofied in any way and whom the Press have not been able to find - because surely they must have been looking for them ?
Like the ones who "helped" Robin Cookand the persons unknown who re-arranged Dr Kelly, they have mysteriously faded away.
Then of course if Todd drove from his Manchester flat to Llanberis on Monday morning there will be an ineradicable record of the passage of a black Range Rover by the Number Plate recognition cameras all the way with lots and lots of little pictures ... won't there ?
Or will they be like the 8,000 CCTV fillums on 7/7 and the ones at Stockwell Station when de menezes was murdered either unfortunately losts, written over, not be working , turned off because it's not the summer, didn't work in the freezing temperatures ?

The UK / US Gubments and a lot of people who would rather that the details of the CIA rendition program remain unknown to the oublic ....if Todd was an imminent whistleblower.
Some people may be unaware of the Bromma airport incident in Sweden on December 18th 2001. the (Swedish Foreign Minister Anna Lindh) very reluctantly gave approval a CIA kidnapping was murdered in public ( she was shopping alone in a department store) nearly two years later (curiously she died on 11th September 2003 at about the time that details of the incident were surfacing publicly) – by a Kosovan hit man (Mijailo Mijailović he confessed in Jan 2004).
PS The official Swedish enquiry reported eventually …
“The element in the handling of the case which there is reason to examine more closely is the acceptance of the “guarantee” or the diplomatic assurances. According to the Government, the guarantee was a precondition for the decisions to expel the men to their homeland, Egypt. Anna Lindh subsequently caused trouble because the CIA overflew Danish territiry and used Greenland / Icelandic airports for rendition despite agreeing not to.

Well, as far as I was told (by a rather nervous looking guy on a train to Crewe at the time) it had less to do with all the CIA and more to do with Todd knowing about the 2006 Supercasino debacle- it was never going anywhere but Manchester, apparently. Not the bookies' favourites, but that's the key in an effective fix, as all politicians and other forms of racketeer know- THE HOUSE ALWAYS WINS.
