Special Thanks - or - 'Old Brit Back In The Land Of The Living' Edition ...
Thanks to an absolutely brilliant bunch of perfect professionals at 'University Hospital Aintree', Fazakerley, Liverpool we've now been let loose on the world once more.
Thanks especially to our super (Muslim) surgeon, Mr Obama (yep, you read his name right), and the bevy of beautiful nurses (in many more ways than one), who took such super-special care of us during our stay ... in Surgical Ward 01.
Thanks also for all the kind thoughts and best wishes posted here on the blog before we buggered off about a week ago.
Thanks too, to blogging buddy Gordo at Appletree for keeping the flag flying while we were flat on our backs at Fazakerley.
While we're still not back to being 100% yet, blogging-wise we'll be doing what we can, when we can, as well as we can.
So stay tuned, since we're sure Gordo's going to stay with us for a while yet. In fact, with any luck, maybe for a lot longer.

Very pleased to hear you're home again, Richard.
As Ol' Blue Eyes used to sing just "Take it Nice 'n' Easy" and let Mrs Richard spoil you rotten.
Great to *see* you again, Richard. I was getting a bit worried. Hope they fixed your *problem*.
Welcome back, Richard, and so I'm glad that you are on the mend and your fingers are clickin' on the ol' keyboard!

What everyone else has already said, mate.
Welcome back, Richard. My guess is you've had plastic surgery. Anytime now there'll be a new photo in the sidebar - of someone looking surprisingly like....Richard Gere.....David Hasselhof......Beckham?
I WISH YOU A RAPID AND EXCELLENT RECOVERY.
This is good news! Hope it wasn't too unpleasant. Glad you're back.
'Bout time too, you old skiver.
Seriously, Richard, it's great to know you're still in one piece and back on your feet.
Nah, never in danger were you, old Brit? Old soldiers never die. They just fade away. ;*)
Right?
Richard rocks!
