Pervez Musharraf's Pakistan Kicked Out Of Commonwealth ...

*

Well, well, well.

No wonder Pakistan's own personal little Hitler - President General Pervez Musharraf (the mighty midget military dictator), - doesn't seem best pleased.

His the country he's virtually been holding to ransom has just been unceremoniously kicked out of the Commonwealth.

Pakistan barred from Commonwealth

Musharraf has faced international fire over the state of emergency

Pakistan has been suspended from the Commonwealth because of its imposition of emergency rule, the organisation has announced after a meeting in Uganda.

Secretary General Don McKinnon said Pakistan was being suspended "pending restoration of democracy and the rule of law".

Earlier Pakistan's Supreme Court dismissed a legal challenge to Pervez Musharraf's re-election as president.

Mr McKinnon said the 53-member Commonwealth had reached the decision by consensus.

I think that Mush has been set up to take a fall. When I first heard a few weeks back that Bhutto had returned to Pakistan I thought she'd gone nuts.

As time's go on though I've reached the conclusion that she only ever went back because she'd been made promises by someone. Someone like the US.

Old Mush has served his purpose. His card's been marked. Bothe US and UK sure changed their opinions of him fast. Too fast for my liking. And boy was this descision to boot Pakistan out the Commonwealth reached in a hurry as well.

Like I said, I'm sure things are going to plan, for the string pullers in the west. I'm also sure that the next leader has already been selected - and I don't mean by the people of Pakistan.

My mind's been working along those lines too, Pimpernel. There's no way on this earth that the US would just 'take a chance' on who turns out to be the next leader in Pakistan -- a NUCLEAR power -- thanks mainly to the US.

Thet MUST have a reliable poodle or puppet in charge. Absolutley MUST.

Something pretty big is brewing over there alright. Now, another big name is "comng back home" to Pakistan. None other than Nawaz Sharif, the guy Musharraf deposed in his coup.

Lookee here:

ISLAMABAD (Reuters) - Exiled former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, the man President Pervez Musharraf deposed, is set to return to Pakistan within days, aides said on Friday, after a deal to end his exile in Saudi Arabia.

It was not immediately clear whether Sharif, whom Musharraf deposed in a bloodless 1999 coup, would get back before November 26, the last date for filing election nominations and so be able to run for parliament
