West Point Graduates Against The War Berate Bush ...

*

Make sure you see this.

It should be self explanatory.

Please pass it on.

Sheesh. Shine a sodding light.

We'd be more than a just a little bit bothered by this if we were you, G.W.B.

Some strong signals for some West Point, officer-class, US military men to be sending to a Commander in Chief, wouldn't you say?

Short, sweet and succinct enough to sink in?

Ya think?

Message ends.

I've had reports that Comcast customers/users can NOT get into these West Point sites.

Any other readers had the same problems?

Any ideas anyone? Other than Comcast censorship?

Same here Richard.
My ISP is Primus.ca but I don't know which big multinational they are affiliated with.

Now, an expat American in Japan informs me [elsewhere] that he can't get into the 'offending' site either.

I'm becoming convinced this is certain ISPs' censorship.

Latest - it looks like it's people using the Firefox browser who are being messed around. I tried using Firefox just now and got taken elsewhere too.

Firefox will also not even let me into my own blog any more - other than as a reader. Yet IE works well, as usual.

Old nark that I am, I won't be effed about by anyone. Note that already I've removed my Firefox affilate ad from my side bar - and it won't be going back. Jeeze, I don't know about anyone else but I'm damned if I'm going to sacrifice any more of my 'personal choice/control' to anyone - least of all effing Firefox.

YMMV.

There is an interesting article, which is somewhat related to West Point. The piece hints at the widespread corruption in Iraq, and the atmosphere of military command, which allegedly allows, or at least tolerate that, driving an Army Colonel into suicide.

Quote: " Col. Westhusing was an unusual case: one of the Army's leading scolars of military ethics, a full professor at West Point who voluntered to serve in Iraq to be able to better teach his students. He had a doctorate in philosophy, his dissertation was an extended meditation on the meaning of honor."

I use Mozilla Firefox on antiquated, dial-up CompuServe. No problems here.

Hope you get in, it's awesome. Thanks, Richard.
