Iran, Israel And America: How The Whole World Sees Them ...

Here's a small snip from a story everyone should see.

BBC survey: Israel 'least popular' nation

By The Associated Press -- London

Israel, Iran and the United States are the countries with the most negative image in a globe-spanning survey of attitudes toward 12 major nations.

Canada and Japan came out best in the poll, released today.

That's straight from Haaretz, today.

Shocked? Surprised?

You shouldn't be.

See some more from the same story.

Canada had the most positive rating in the survey of 28,389 people in 27 countries, with 54 percent viewing it positively and 14 percent negatively. It was followed by Japan and France.

Respondents were also asked their views of the 25-member European Union; 53 percent saw it as positive and 19 percent as negative.
Then there's this.

Countries that relate to the world primarily through soft power, like France and Japan and the EU in general, tend to be viewed positively,
We'd say that in any seriously civilised, 21st century society - such a sensible summary shouldn't surprise anyone.

Should be sort of self evident, eh?

Here's the Haaretz report.

And again via Ynet.

The only thing that surprises me is that someone as msm as the BBC has finally had to the balls to come right out in the open with this.

Uh, oh.

Ready for the flack, Richard? You know, the anti-American, anti Israel/semite stuff, etc?

Bet there's not much said about being anti-Iran though.

Well, it's mightily encouraging to see the old proverb working, in all its glory.
Namely, the one which says:

"You can fool some of the people some of the time, or even all the people some of the time, but you can never fool all the people, all the time."

Before I go any further, let me say that the significance of this, is no small matter, although I'm sure there will be attempts to belittle the results now, as part of some 'damage control' efforts.

Why no small matter? Because if it would be a matter of small importance, we wouldn't have the spectacle, of a whole multibillion dollars worth of PR and propaganda apparatus in Zionist Jewish hands and/or control, working and existing like one of the mythical monster, the multiheaded hydra, to doctrinate, persuade or even brainwash people by deception, omission and outright lies, to accomplish their paymasters' goal.

The methods used, are supposedly very sophisticated and widely varied. Indeed, ideally they are tailor-made to the designated audience, and they are supposedly scientificaly calibrated. They are ranging from lofty, substantial and confusingly detaily presentations for educated audiences in the high end, to the endless repetitions of a few simple slogans, (like modern day mantra), for the unwashed masses, to the low end. The latter by 24 hrs. TV, which conveniently switches the viewers' braincells to zombie like alpha waves, for the duration of TV viewing. (Dr. Goebbels famously salivated over that aspect of television, then still in experimental phase.)

By now the reader may realise one significant difference among these players: The controlers of the US/Israeli governments have this awesome apparatus of propaganda and PR machine with Global reach under their rule, while Iran doesn't have such thing. Indeed, Iran suffers from the detrimental effects of the concentrated propaganda attacks, from the above described mechanism.

This handy little survey shows, that the mighty lie machine might succeed on occasion, to besmirch countries and adversaries to a limited degree, but it has disasterously failed to whitewash in the public's mind, the famed pair of particularly notorious and dangerous rogue nations, known as US and Israel.

YOUR problem mister. We could care less what you think.

Well we'd better start caring what the world thinks. We're far from self sufficient as a nation. We depend on the rest of the world for the very things that used to make us one of the superpowers.

With out their support, the government will collapse financially, if you weren't already aware of that.

This makes me proud to be a Soviet Canuckistanian (Pat Buchanan's word for Canadian). Still, our elected neoconservative PM, Stephen Harper, has a history of supporting Bush. Before he got elected he ranted and raved against the country for not supporting the Iraq war. Now that he's in and must contend with an electorate that overwhelmingly does not like Bush or neoconservatives, he's been forced to tone it down. Like all fundamentalists whose religion is small (nil) gov't and privatization, Harper is not to be trusted.

To add insult to injury so many Americans are well aware of exactly what attrocities they have commited, have allowed outside infiltrators to commit and actually instigated in many cases. The latter two thinbgs being there premeditated plan to 'prove their point' that they need to remain there.

Sadly, for all their big talk they are (in so many instances) NOT big enough to admit what a night, are they've brought about. And definitely, the vast majority are NOT big enough to apologise ~ nor will they ever be.

And they still have the gall to ask that stupid question ~ why do they hate us? Are they realy so stupid? Even my 15 year old daughter could tell them why. But would they even listen, let alone accept the so obvious answer[s].

To sum up: big cars, big buildings, big bellies, big mouths but veritable pigmies as far as culture, conscience and genuine civilisation is concerned.

How many are even BIG or BRAVE enough to tackle their own corrupt leaders\\politicians?

P.S. I do know that there are exceptions - ALL Americans are not the same - just far too many are.

in most survey done in recent years, usa consistently top the unfavourable naton list. what has iran done to deserve this "honour" now, ? it just goes to show the awesome power of the western [mostly amerikkan] propaganda machine, which has been mounting a relentless campaign of smear and disinformation against iran.
and if we believe in the dictum that one is judged by the companies he keep, how did japan, an avid member of the "axis of good" which includes the us and israel, scores so positively?
ok, so i heard that japan hasnt done any aggression since wwii, but thats due to article 9 of the post war constitution, which forbade remilitarism in japan. for year the hawks in japan have been rearing to discard this shackle and rearm japan to its former "greatness". with us goading in the background and using the bogeyman of nk and china, their wildest dream has come true. japan now boast the world's second or third most modern military, its reputed to be able to turn nuclear in short notice if it wants to, it sent troops to shore up uncle sham's iraq occupation even though more than 70% of japanese opposed, it has territory dispute with china, korea and russia.
its much vaunted "soft power" mostly consist of largese to counties like nepal, outer mongolia etc, apparently intended to dilute china's influence in its own backyard, i wouldnt be surprised if the chinese view this as a ploy which compliments uncle sham's more blatant strategy to ring china with us bases. ironically, this "soft" approach of japanese policy doesnt seem to extend to china, its worst victim of wwii. when china proposed a joint development of the diaoyu isle pending future resolution of its sovereinty issue, japan responded by sending warships to impose a cordon off the isle and built structures like light house on it, apparently to legitimate its claim by fact acommpli.
then there's the problem of taiwan, lest we forget, it was japan that took taiwan at gun point in 1898, yet now the japs has the gall to tell the chinese that under the us japan defence pact, taiwan is under its protection !!!
if this is japan's way of saying sorry to china then there will never be reconciliation between the two countries. yet every time china respond to yet another bout of japanese provocation, all we hear from the west [especially the yanks] is that the chinese are "harping on history" and trying to milk japan's non existent"guilt complex" for more economic gains. [sic]
talk about blaming the victims....

yanks take heart, usa is very hot with one quarter of mankind..........and i am not tallking about china.
whereas in many "friendly" countries only the ruling class are in thrall with uncle sham, the masses are mostly hostile, but in india, the affection with amerikka is genuine and best of all, grassroot level.
"We have great admiration for U.S. power and want our country to replicate it, not oppose it". How many of America's European allies share such sentiments?"
hell, india even has its own version of amerikka's five year plan to "do" seven countries.
no wonder i keep hearing from yanks and indians how they share a lot of common values and are natural partners to stem this rising yellow peril,
