Crooked McCain's Iraq Trip Con ...

*

We see McCain buggered off to Baghdad to try to prove his big fat porky point about what a peaceful place it is.

Well, we wonder whether he's had a chance to see what we've seen yet.

What John McCain Didn't Tell You

by Larry C Johnson

While John McCain was excoriating the press in Baghdad yesterday for not presenting the "full story" about how swell things are in Iraq he neglected to mention the pre-visit security sweep that made that neighborhood stroll so safe.

I am sure you have already heard about the 100 soldiers, the three Blackhawk helicopters and two Apache gunships that accompanied his entourage, but did you hear about the soldiers who swept the area before the American legislators and their security team showed up?

Who cares about those mooks? They are expendable.

John McCain and Lindsey Graham put American soldiers' lives at risk just so they could have a photo op. That's the bottom line.

Why didn't they do a ride along on a real patrol? Perhaps they could have joined the U.S. team that responded to an ambush of an American patrol yesterday? Of course a total of six U.S. soldiers died in that operation.

Read the rest of this report at 'No Quarter'.

Who the hell does this man McCain think he's kidding with this kind of crap?

And anyway, in order to find out for himself any real, everyday Iraq facts at all, he needn't have bloody bothered going anywhere.

Other than right here.

And don't just take our word for it; go see for yourself.

That means he'd have had to step down of his fence to make the trip. Remind me - which side is he on lately?

I honestly believe McCain is showing signs of early dementia. And he [as well as some others] sees himselg as presidential material. God forbid.

Who cares what McCain thinks, says or does?
No sarcasm intended, Richard, but really, why bother about a nobody like him?

Richard,
Hi.I received a mail from jewish Voice for peace and Just Foreign Policy to sign a petition in support of bill s.594 restricting the selling and the use of cluster bombs. Although I would have preferred a total ban, I signed the petition and I am asking you if you are interested in signing the petition and/or spreading the word.

I never believed that ANY sane person would become a Bush supporter after being treated the way McCain was treated by Bush and Rove during the Republican Primary in 2000.

After that, when McCain became an outspoken supporter, I became almost certain he was the victim of some kind of mind control and needed emergency therapy pronto. Now 7 years later, it is showing up again. (I haven't paid any attention to the in-between years).

Was Graham sent along on this trip for a reason or to be his "minder" or is he also a victim?

John McCain's credibility was founded on his serving in VIetnam, being captured and tortured and suviving with honour.

Yet his behaviour is at odds with this scenario - at least the "honour" bit.

He acts like a very compromised man to my mind.

Over to Iran -
Very good article at GlobalResearch entitled War On Iran.

The $64 question, though, is why did Russia and China sign the recent UN resolution increasing sanctions on Iran?

Yes, although I didn't mention the Viet Nam long imprisonment specifically, I was thinking in that framework when I spoke of "mind control." But one has to be careful about the conspiracy theories that have floated about long POW imprisonments, brain-washing, various post-hypnotic suggestion stuff. There's been 'way too much of that sort of talk with no real basis. "Brain-washing" is actually trying to convince prisoners they've been fighting on the wrong side. And of course when the Vietnamese did that, they were right.

However, I do think ANY long imprisonment in a culture you don't understand and have already been programmed by your own military to hate and distrust will take a psychological toll that affects the rest of ones life in unpredictable ways.

Topic switch:
Thanks for the link to the article at GlobalResearch and the $64 question is a good one to ask.

McCain knows he lied, he's just playing "That's My Story and I'm Sticking To It".

It's that McCain is selling Bushco's lies that makes it worthwhile to pay attention. He needs to be made to admit his story is a pack of lies.
