Is MoveOn Manipulating Members To Vote For More War?
We realised from the off what was happening with Pelosi and her Democratic Party pals -- even though we're thousands of miles away across the Atlantic.
So as soon as we saw this in our inbox, and since it makes so much sense to us, we decided we'd help spread it.

MoveOn is polling its members in a biased fashion about the Iraq supplemental -- they are doing their best to manipulate their members into supporting the slow bleed in Iraq that will result if the Pelosi-Obey supplemental is approved.
More than 200 members of the U.S. military have died since the Democrats had the power to end this war. How many more? How many Iraqis?
If you are a member of MoveOn vote to oppose the supplemental and tell MoveOn to join the rest of the peace movement in pressuring the Democrats to end the war -- not to continue it.
What's wrong with the supplemental?
The deadline for removal is not until August 31, 2008.
And, even then loopholes will allow as many troops as President Bush wants to stay in Iraq to "capture or kill" Al Qaeda or other terrorists and to train Iraqi soldiers.
These are loopholes big enough to drive a war through!
The requirements for sending combat ready troops can be waived by the president so exhausted troops that are inadequately trained can be
sent into this quagmire.
And, the supplemental does not restrict the president regarding using the funds to attack Iran. In other words the supplemental is business as usual.
The Democrats are voting to stay the course in the guise of a withdrawal plan.
In fact, the Democrats have cleared the path for war with Iran.
Tell MoveOn -- join the peace movement and tell the Democrats to end the war.

When you get organisations as big as Move-On and nothing really changes you know you are looking at gatekeepers.
Move-On has been an obvious gatekeeper for some time now as has the Democratic Party itself.
The last real Democratic president JFK and look what they did to him ~~ then his brother after him.
US is a one party country. I call it the Politician Party. So does anyone else with sense ~~ and honesty.
Btw, UK is also now a one party place.

I agree with both commentators, but -I know it's hard to believe it,- there are still a lot of people who put their hopes into the Democratic Party and organizations like Move-On to change the present agenda, no matter how many times they are let down by them.
It's very important to fire at the whole corrupt system, including the 'loyal opposition' and the various fellow travellers at full force, because they are all responsible for the plight we are in, in America, and around the whole World.
Pelosi stated once that the greatest moment in the 20th century was the creation of the state of Israel.
The democrats serve their lobbyists and campaign contributors, who see the middle east as a territory to be conquered and robbed of its` oil.
The alternative to the american/Jewish domination of the middle east is a total collapse of the american economy, with looters and armed factions in the streets.
Many politicians would face arrest or lynching, as the dollar would collapse and become worthless.
Without war, the united states has no money at all, and Pelosi didn`t get to be where she is by talking of peace.
Just my opinion, of course.
Kucinich Boosts Impeachment
Rep. Dennis Kucinich took another step towards introducing Articles of Impeachment with a video:
"We need to reevaluate the direction of this administration by looking at its conduct in office, by determining whether it has faithfully followed the laws of our nation. I'm prepared to start that process. I began this week with a speech on the floor of the House, which warned the administration that its actions toward Iran already constitute a case to ask the question about impeachment. So I'm asking you, what do you think? Do you think it's time?"

** Moveon Betrays Peace Movement **
Even as hundreds of thousands were protesting the 4th anniversary of Bush's illegal and disastrous war in Iraq, Moveon was urging its 3.2 million members to support $93 billion more for Bush's War. Moveon conducted a dishonest member "poll" which deliberately left out the Barbara Lee Amendment that would limit new spending to a "fully funded withdrawal" of our troops by the end of the year.

Progressive Democrats in Congress Can Stop the Supplemental
The Iraq Supplemental can be defeated if only 15 of the 68 progressive House Democrats vote against it.
Under tremendous pressure from Speaker Pelosi, only 6 Democrats are definitely voting no: Barbara Lee, Lynn Woolsey, Maxine Waters, Dennis Kucinich, Raul Grijalva, and Pete Stark. Another 7 are leaning no: Steve Cohen, Danny Davis, Lloyd Doggett, Keith Ellison, Sheila Jackson Lee, Juanita Millender-McDonald, and Diane Watson. Speaker Pelosi says the only alternative to her toothless bill is a blank check for Bush. But Rep. Pete Stark says simply: "We can write a better bill."
